We need your help!

MPTO is a 100% VOLUNTEER organization that depends on the involvement of K-5 families. Many of our long-term volunteers will be “aging out” at the end of the 2025/26 school year. Please consider getting involved in one of the following positions:

Fun Run Fundraising Chair - the Fun Run is our biggest fundraising event of the year!  Responsibilities include emailing and calling local businesses to solicit donations and build relationships.

Family Fun Co-Chair Opening: The Family Fun Co-Chair is responsible for helping to plan events that are free and fun for families in our community. We currently host the Trunk-or-Treat in October, Movie Nights twice each year, Bingo in the Spring (usually in April), and Popsicles in the Park once or twice during the summer. The time commitment for the co-chair would be 2 hours/month on average outside of the family fun events, and the co-chair would be encouraged to attend PTO meetings as they are able. Additionally, this person would be expected to be at all Family Fun events (5-6 annual events listed above). Additional ideas for Family and Community Fun events are welcomed as well!

Please reach out to Amanda Trnka (current Chair) at familyfun@mahtomedipto.com for more information.
